During the Anakonda-18 in the Orzysz training area the Polish and allied units started common tactical manoeuvres.

Synchronization is the most important thing during the preparation of tasks. It determines the proper ution of the tasks. Commander of the Task Group of the 15th Giżycko Mechanized Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Adam Krysiak conducted a synchronization aimed at coordinating place and time of the activities performed by the training subunits. Signals were checked, emergency procedures were discussed, and the whole was placed on a special plastic table, which reflected the location of subunits in the field.

It was also a great opportunity to confront the knowledge in the scope of joint implementation and completion of tasks by the American subunits of the NATO Battalion Battle Group, the Task Group of the 15th Giżycko Mechanized Brigade and the 3rd Battalion Tactical Unit of the 12th Mechanized Brigade. During the synchronization, the main task was coordination of a joint defence, as well as a tactical manoeuvre of reliefing in place by Polish and allied troops at the Orzysz training area.
